Word is a Pillar of Integrity

The scripture says "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1.
One of the pillars of character is the word one speaks. Your words can't be depressed from you. You are the same Ann's it is a clue to what you contain. It is a clue to your intention. It is indicative of your personality and character. If your words fail, by I'm plain, you may have failed. If your are not reliable, by implication, you are not reliable. In the course of building integrity, words of mouth play important role. Michal had everlasting misfortune of barrenness on earth because of her word. "And David returned to bless his household. But Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David and said, “How the king of Israel honored himself today, uncovering himself today before the eyes of his servants' female servants, as one of the vulgar fellows shamelessly uncovers himself! And Michal the daughter of Saul had no child to the day of her death." 2 Sam 6:20, 23 or why do you think God is dependable, trustworthy and earns respect? Simple! Whatever He says He would do is what He will do. His words are His bond!
Isaiah 55:11 "so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." The rate of distrust in our society is very alarming. Why? People say what they are not ready to do. Elijah and his ministry commanded an unusual respect not because he was an angel but because his words never fall to the ground at anytime. The problem you have as a leader with your followers may be traceable to your broken promises very many times. Lying to your spouse, friends, boss and business associates, children in any circumstance and for whatever reason may earn you respect or safety for a short while. But it will ultimately reduce you to nothing. If only you know that your words say a lot about you, you will be careful of your utterances.
Words fall to the ground when they are not backed up by revenant actions or when lifestyle or intention does not align with utterances. You are the sole cause of your failed utterances. Repent of your double lifestyle and of your deceit. Embrace righteousness and God will empower your word. Elisha who healed Marah was a person like you. Today is a great day for you.
